Safeguarding lead and contact
Felicity Jayne Turner is the safeguarding lead and point of contact for risk, welfare, and safeguarding concerns.
Crisis boundary
Fly High Mentoring does not provide crisis support. If you or someone else is in danger, call 999 or go to A&E. If you need urgent mental health help but it is not an emergency, use NHS 111 online or call 111 and select the mental health option. Samaritans can be contacted free on 116 123.
Immediate risk
If a student or another person appears to be at immediate risk, emergency services or urgent support routes should be used without delay.
Confidentiality limits
Confidentiality should be respected, but it is not absolute. Serious risk, safeguarding concerns, legal duties, or urgent welfare concerns may require escalation.
Escalation routes
Escalation routes include emergency services, NHS urgent support, university safeguarding or wellbeing contacts where appropriate, and professional safeguarding advice. Actions are recorded proportionately.
Lone working and delivery environments
Remote work is planned with privacy, accessibility, health and safety, and emergency contact arrangements in mind.
